Monday 31st May Update to 3.3.3

Hey All,

The date has been set for the server update now, it will happen on Monday 31st.

Monday morning the realm will go offline for a a short time while the 333 core is added to the server, the server will then be started in GM only mode sow e can log and make sure all is a-ok, once chars have been checked, server will restart in normal mode.

IRC Chat room will be online still so you can join there to keep upto date with the progress of the update.

Just a few quick questions.
The update is to 3.3.3a ( like most priv servers around ) or just 3.3.3 ? Will honor points, arena points reset ? Will you start the new arena season ?
Oh and last but not least: THANK YOU! For everything you,( Devs, GMs, etc.) do for the server!

Answers to your questions, Sorband.

~It is unsure if the points will reset, we will find out when we patch up.

I think the points should reset as then you can't use previous patch points to get new patch gear. You have to earn it each patch that way. Just like raid gear you have to raid each patch. Same thing.

And agreed with the above. Thanks for the work on the new patch.

You need patch to Version 3.3.2 !!! Most probably you're on 3.3.3a right now... unless you really want to play this weekend i suggest you just wait till we update ( on monday ) and you can join us then.

People can't use old patch emblems for new patch gear. They have to raid each patch for the new PvE gear in the new raids. And the same for PvP gear I say.

I worked hard for my 180 Emblems of heroism. But will they get me good gear for patch 3.3.3? Heck no. I need triumphs or more likely Emblems of Frost. I have to work my butt off in the new patch for new patch gear.

And the same should be for PvP gear. No using work spent in old patches for new gear. The work spend in the old patches was for the gear that was good at the time. For current gear you should have to be working for it now in the current patch. It's just like saying work hard in the older patches for new patch good PvP gear. Not exactly fair when compared to how PvE gear works.

Not true thee, and this is not the thread for an arguement, its an announcement, if you want to argue your point, do it in the general chat forum. The emblems stay the same as the previous patch, no need to reset. If it does happen however, it will be part of the updating process and can not be helped.

We will try to keep everyones ratings and points. You will notice that I might log less during the following couple of weeks, due to some RL stuff, I will however look in from time to time and see how things progress.

Hello MGA !!!!

It seems like yesterday when I started playing WoW on the MGA server when it was just the start of TBC.... And now we updating to 3.3.3a....Damn time flies when you’re having fun.

I would like to thank all the GM's for making this possible to enable 100’s of ppl to enjoy the relaxation and the fun of WoW. Sometimes some of the players have problems work with, but just keep in mind that a lot of MGA players enjoys and loves this server the why the GM’s does.
